Dave Kunkel, President
Dave Kunkel and Terry Lammers purchased Cecil Management Group, Inc. (CMG) in October of 2015 from Dorcas Cecil. CMG is one of the largest residential property management companies in the St. Louis Metro East area and currently manages approximately 900 residential properties and 60 homeowners associations encompassing around 4,500 households, with an office staff of 13 and a crew of 5 maintenance technicians.
Growth has predominately came from referrals of CMG’s client base over the last 35+ years. The growth and development of CMG’s professional staff has evolved in a similar manner. CMG has attracted high-quality, committed professionals and has invested in their training, development and growth. As a result of those efforts CMG is the recognized leader in the metro east whose success is the result of our Clients. A rebranding and marketing campaign has been launched featuring a new logo for the Company. CMG plans to continue to grow the Company and expand on past successes.
Dave Kunkel founded Kunkel Commercial Group in 2007 and has been working in all aspects of commercial real estate for more than 25 years. Since he began in the industry, he has enjoyed working closely with his clients, helping them make informed decisions that best meet their commercial real estate requirements. Dave always remains focused on the needs of his clients in the areas of leasing, tenant representation, development and property management. Dave learned the ropes of the real estate business by working at Trammell Crow Company in the ever-changing St. Louis market. There, he was responsible for maintaining in excess of six million square feet of office, medical, retail and industrial space. Before focusing his efforts in the Metro-East, he worked for Scott Properties where he leased and managed more than a million square feet of medical, office, retail and industrial space. As a Metro-East native, Dave was pleased to return to the area and open his own company where his customer-centered approach is focused on sales, leasing and property management services.
In July 2014, Dave and partner Terry Lammers opened Innovative Business Advisors which assists client with Mergers & Acquisitions, Business Valuations and Intermediary Services. Terry Lammers, CFO
Terry is a graduate of Webster University in St. Louis with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He was the President and Owner of Tri-County Petroleum, Inc. for over 20 years. TCPI was a wholesale fuel and lubricants supplier servicing Southern, IL and the St. Louis Metro area. After successfully selling his company in 2010, Terry spent three and a half years with Regions Bank as a Vice President of Commercial Banking. Terry is a licensed Broker with Kunkel Commercial Group, Inc. In July of 2014 Terry teamed up with Dave Kunkel and started Innovative Business Brokerage Group, Inc. Terry is a lifelong resident of the Highland, IL area where he currently lives with his wife and three children. Terry is an avid outdoors person and has enjoyed several North American large game hunts. Local involvement in community organizations include, President Highland-Pierron Fire District, 20 yr volunteer fireman for the Highland-Pierron Fire Dept., Past President of the Pierron Improvement Club, Past President of the Highland Rotary Club, Member St. Joseph Hospital Friends Board, Board member Highland Area Community Foundation, Mentor Highland Entrepreneurship Program.
Dana Korte, Sr. Property Manager/COO
Dana has been with CMG since 2002. She is part owner in the firm, the Chief Operations Officer and has been Property Manager since 2012. Dana has 20+ years of customer service experience. Taking on major roles in every department of CMG, the experience has given her the expertise to effectively manage our large portfolio. Her priorities are to continue streamlining the goals of the company and increase employee knowledge in order to maintain quality customer service. When Dana is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children.
Renee Wittenauer, Property Manager/Managing Broker
Renee joined Cecil Management Group, Inc in 2017 with 12 years of experience in Property Management. She is the Managing Broker and an owner of Cecil Management Group, Inc. Renee’s passion in Real Estate led her to specialize in Property Management. Renee understands the importance of excellent, transparent and authentic customer service. She appreciates and respects each client and customer’s unique situation and communicates with them with empathy and honesty. Working with philosophies around innovation and continuous learning, Renee continues to expand her knowledge in the industry through many educational opportunities. Renee earned her designation as an Accredited Residential Manager through IREM in 2018. Renee also serves on the Realtor Association Board of Directors and is Chairperson of the RASI Community Involvement Committee. When not working, Renee loves to volunteer and spend time with her husband and two kids.
Donna Range, Leasing Agent
Donna Range joined our team as an experienced Leasing Agent. She has worked in Property Management for 10+ years and brings full knowledge of the industry. Her duties have included inner office roles of collections and maintenance. Most of her experience is out of office doing showings and property inspections, which is her role at Cecil Management Group, Inc. Donna grew up in this area and is a great contributor for people looking for a new place to call home.
Amanda Vaninger, Leasing Supervisor/Leasing Agent
Amanda Vaninger is a licensed Leasing Agent and has the role of Leasing Supervisor. Amanda’s experience will make her a great Leasing Supervisor as she helps manage our marketing, applications, and lease contracts. Amanda will also help with showings and property walkthroughs as well. Amanda lives in this area, has 2 sons, and is a proud fiancé of an Air Force member.
Janet Moskwa, Leasing Specialist
Janet Moskwa is the smiling face that will most likely greet you at our front desk. She joined our team as a Leasing Specialist. Her past real estate company and marketing experience, plus outgoing personality, makes her a great fit for our team. Her special touch for customer service is a great asset for our customers and clients. Janet lives in Fairview Heights with her husband and two children.
Stu Kasten, HOA Manager/Broker
Stu joined CMG in 2014 as an HOA team member. Prior to CMG Stu was the managing member of Trend Management LLC, developing and managing multi-family properties in the Metro East area since 1977. Stu has been actively involved with the City of O’Fallon’s park system as a park board member, being instrumental in the parks master plan and the Family Sports Park. Stu’s passion is soccer, where he continues to be involved in the administration of youth soccer for the state of Illinois. Stu and his wife live in O’Fallon.
Trish Fouts, HOA Manager/Broker
Trish joined CMG in 2013 & has transformed the HOA Department into an efficient & paperless customer service oriented operation. Trish is a licensed Broker previously with REMAX and Coldwell Banker Brown having practiced real estate since 1999. She is excited to announce she will be a first time grandmother in November, 2016. Trish resides in Swansea with her husband Larry.
Kristi Pulcher, HOA Manager/Broker
Kristi has joined Cecil Management Group, Inc in the HOA department. Kristi is a licensed Real Estate Broker and Cosmetologist. She comes to us with over 28 years of customer service experience as well as long time office management skills. When she is not at work, Kristi enjoys spending time with her 2 daughters and 2 grandsons.
Christina Mason, Accounting Supervisor/ Leasing Agent
Christina joined our team in October 2015 and comes to us with over 10 years of management experience. She received her Bachelor’s in Accounting from Kaplan University. Some of her duties include preparing owner and HOA financial statements as well as monthly owner disbursements. She played a huge role in our go green initiative and helping the owners become familiar with our online portal system. To help expand her skills, Christina became a Licensed Leasing Agent in 2017. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Courtney Lintker, Maintenance Supervisor
Courtney joined CMG after graduating college early from Mizzou with her Bachelors degree and started working in the Property Management Industry. Always willing to learn new things, she worked in many aspects of the business and was quickly promoted to full time Maintenance Coordinator. At CMG, she will be our Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for coordinating and dispatching vendors to quickly resolve maintenance issues for tenants and homeowners. Courtney’s knowledge and expertise to communicate well and go the extra mile to excel at customer service make her a great asset to CMG, as well as our owners and tenants. When not at work, Courtney likes wood working and helps on her family dairy and grain farm.
Anita Meise, Maintenance Assistant
Anita has been with Cecil Management Group, Inc since 2015, and has worked in the local real estate industry since 1998. Her organization and willingness to step in & resolve complex issues has proven invaluable. Her job experiences in the housing industry and property management has enhanced the performance of our Maintenance Department. Anita is originally from South Dakota and attended South Dakota State University. She resides in Swansea with her husband John and are proud new Grandparents.
Diane Andersen, Accounts Payable
Diane has been with CMG since 2012 & splits her time with Judy Dempcy Homes. Diane came to us after 18 years of accounting experience at the Belleville News Democrat. Diane’s extensive background in real estate accounting has helped CMG become more efficient & paperless. When not at work she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Cindy George, Office Manager & Leasing Coordinator
Cindy has been with CMG since 1997!! Often referred to as the ‘office goddess’, Cindy has been with CMG through tremendous growth & expansion. Prior to coming to work for CMG, Cindy worked for 21 years as a residential service representative for Ameritech – now AT&T. Cindy resides in O’Fallon & loves spending time with her daughter and grandkids.
Julie Lammers, Accounting
Julie Lammers joined our Cecil Management Accounting team on a part time temporary basis in early 2017. After quickly learning many aspects of the department, Julie is now a regular part time employee of Cecil Management Group, Inc. Julie has the monumental task every month of processing hundreds of tenant and HOA payments as well as helping with our financial statement accuracy and reconciliations. Julie resides in Highland with her husband Terry and they have three children.
Jessica Lamb, Leasing Agent
Jessica Lamb is a member of our Leasing Department team. We are excited having her on our team bringing property management experience. What we loved about her right away was that she missed working in property management! Her passion for this industry and enthusiasm is a great asset to us and our clients. Justine McPherson, Leasing Agent
Justine McPherson joined our leasing team with prior property management experience managing multi unit apartment complexes.
